Job Information
Professionals Nord, in collaboration with Folla tech, is looking for a Service Technician with lathe skills for Motala. In this role, you will work both in the workshop and at customer sites. You will be responsible for manual turning of pump parts while participating in service, assembly, and installation of pumps and rotating equipment. Periodically, you will be more in the field, while other periods will be more workshop-focused. The atmosphere in the team is familial and unpretentious – everyone helps each other and solves tasks together.

Job Responsibilities

• Manual turning of pump parts
• Dismantling and assembling pumps, machines, and piping systems
• Renovation of pumps in the workshop
• Troubleshooting and monitoring of equipment during operation
• Assembly and installation during pump replacements and new installations
• Documentation, measurement, and inspection protocols

Travel is required, primarily within Sweden. Planning is done well in advance, and hotels and travel are booked centrally.

We are looking for someone who
 

Has documented experience with manual lathes and a background in mechanical workshops or industry. You are confident in working with tolerances, bearings, and rotating equipment and want to use your skills in a broad service technician role.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience with manual lathes
• Mechanical experience from industry or workshop
• Driving license B
• Swedish spoken and written
• Office package

Meritorious:

• Experience with pumps or rotating equipment
• Previous work in the process or paper industry
